How to apply for a place at our school
Applying for your child to start in Reception in September 2024
This is called the normal admissions round and is for all children who will be 4 years old as at 1st September 2024 and are about to start school for the first time.
To apply for a school place, please complete the Reception Admission Application Form and either e-mail it to admissions@chapelhillprimary.essex.sch.uk or post to:

Please note, we are a new school and for the 2024-2025 academic year are only accepting applications for pupils starting Reception, as we will only have a Reception class at this time.
The application window for Reception 2024 admissions closed on 15th January 2024. Any applications received after this date will be classed as a late application and considered after the on time applications. admissions@chapelhillprimary.essex.sch.uk
Applying for mid-year admission
This applies if you wish to change your child’s school. Applications should be made directly to our school, using the application form below. Do NOT apply directly to Essex County Council.
Please note, at present, the school will only be opening a Reception class in September 2024. Other year groups will become available year by year as the school grows. You are welcome to phone or e-mail the school office to find out if we have any places in your child's year group. This will save you time applying for a place if we do not have any available. If we do not have a space available, all applications received will be automatically added to our waiting list which is ranked in accordance with our published admissions policy.
Once we receive your application, we will respond to you within 10 school days. This does not include weekends or school holidays. In our response we will tell you whether we can offer you a place or not.
