How to apply for a place at our school

Applying for your child to start in Reception in September 2024

The application window for Reception 2024 admissions closed on 15th January 2024. Any applications received after this date will be classed as a late application and considered after the on time applications.

To apply for a Reception place, please complete the Reception Admission Application Form and either e-mail it to admissions@chapelhillprimary.essex.sch.uk or post to:

Applying for your child to start in Reception in September 2025

The admissions window for September 2025 admissions opens on 4th November 2024 and closes on 15th January 2025.

Applications should be made via Essex County Council's online portal:

Admissions | Essex County Council

Please do not send applications for Reception 2025 admission directly to the school as these will not be processed.

Applying for mid-year admission

This applies if you wish to change your child’s school. Applications should be made directly to our school, using the application form below. Do NOT apply directly to Essex County Council.

Once we receive your application, we will respond to you within 10 school days. This does not include weekends or school holidays. In our response we will tell you whether we can offer you a place or not.

We are delighted to confirm that for the 2024-2025 academic year, we will be admitting children in Reception, Years 1, 2 3 and 4.
