Year 2 Fire of London Topic Launch

Year Two were very excited to welcome firefighters from Basildon’s Essex Fire and Rescue Service! 🚒 A huge thank you to the firefighters for giving up their time to visit us. The children loved learning more about The Great Fire of London, including how buildings have changed to make them safer and how firefighting equipment has developed over time. They were full of enthusiasm and questions throughout the visit – and especially excited when they had the chance to jump on board the fire engine!
