International Peace Cup

Last Friday, our brilliant sports stars visited Lee Chapel for the annual International Day of Peace football & netball tournament.

 The morning began with some close-fought netball matches in which the team lost narrowly; however, they finished with an incredible 10-0 to earn the team fourth place in the competition.

 But it was the footballers who went one better, starting off with two well-earned wins before a defeat to the eventual winners. The team then got back to winning ways before an unlucky defeat. The footballers also finished with a great win in the last moments to earn the team second place in the competition.

 An excellent start to the sporting calendar from our teams, who I'm sure will continue to perform superbly in every competition they enter. Well done teams!
